Proof-of-Work Blockchain
Every booking and cancellation is mined as an immutable block with SHA-256 hashing and elliptic curve cryptography — no record can be altered.

AES-256-GCM Encryption
Passenger PII (mobile, NID, date of birth) is encrypted with unique IVs at rest. Only authorised roles can decrypt sensitive fields.

Multi-Factor Authentication
TOTP-based MFA (Google Authenticator compatible) protects every account. Two-step OTP email registration prevents fake accounts.

Real-time Updates
Socket.IO pushes live events — new bookings, cancellations, train alerts — to the admin dashboard and passenger apps instantly.

QR-Coded Tickets
Each ticket carries a blockchain-hash QR code. Inspectors scan and verify integrity offline-capable in under a second.

Smart Refund Engine
Configurable time-based refund policy (80% → 50% → 25%) with automated wallet credit processed on-chain — no manual intervention.

Role-Based Access Control
Six distinct roles — Passenger, Inspector, Admin, Super Admin, Station Operator, Authority — each with scoped JWT tokens and middleware guards.

GeoIP Login Tracking
Every login records IP address and resolved city/country. Admins see the last 20 login locations for any account.

About the System

What is
LedgerProve?

LedgerProve is a research-grade, production-ready blockchain ticketing system built for Bangladesh Railway. It replaces paper-based and trust-dependent ticketing with a fully auditable, cryptographically secured digital ledger.

The platform combines a custom Proof-of-Work blockchain (Python), optional Hyperledger Fabric permissioned ledger, a Node.js REST API, and three specialised React frontends — all orchestrated with Docker.
